Hell of All Hells started with a snare drum and a tape recorder. Humble
beginnings. But with time, experience and resourcefulness it became the project
that you hear today. It is the brainchild of one person, Eric Jones. "I just want to
make music that I can enjoy listening to, and if there are others who enjoy it also,
well all the better."
This latest album, "The Devil's Game" is the culmination of new and old ideas,
years of stage experience with other musicians and a yearning to grow musically
and lyrically.
"My older stuff was me basically poking fun at the "Satanic" Metal bands,
lovingly of course. Just a way to make me and my buddies laugh. I'd just spend a
couple of days recording it and that was it. This time I wanted to take it a little
more seriously and take the time to write more thoughtful lyrics. I guess just
trying to be as blasphemous as possible was getting old. It took me a couple of
months to complete and I really like the way it came out. So you can count on me
doing more of it in the future."
Hell of All Hells could turn out to be a force to be reckoned with in the indie
Metal scene. The modern internet driven world has made it a possibility for
talented people to put forth their ideas and projects and to find a niche audience
that would otherwise be inaccessible. "I just want to share my music with
whoever wants to listen to it. It's more fun making music when you know there
are others out there who share your tastes and will appreciate what you do, but I
would do it anyway, regardless. The music must be allowed to flow."
So it is done.
